Chapter:-8

Ash knew Team was doing his best to keep his cool as they proceeded with the discussion about this mission. He hated it when he gets emotional in front of his teammates. Ash chose to let go and accept Team reply, not wanting his bestfriend to go through the emotional torture once again.

"This time, our main mission is to infiltrate the club, to know the truth behind the Fairy history. We are there to confirm if the information we got is indeed true, as well as their association with the Black Clan. And lastly, once we've confirmed everything, we need to interrogate them about the mystery note, as well as the Black Clan plans. Got it?" All of them nodded in understanding as they got the information of their mission for the night.

"But Ash, how do we infiltrate the club? If we're correct in our assumption that this is the Fary Clan, or the former Wild Hunt's den, then I think they will be prepared for any intrusion or attack from the authority. And just one glance at us and I am pretty sure they will instantly recognise us as a White Wolf Clan warriors." Simon asked as he tried to analyse their situation for later.

"Great question, Simon. That's next on our agenda for the discussion today. As you know, we can't infiltrate the enemy's territory while flaunting our identity. We won't be disguised, either though. It's more like, blending in with their kind. Make them believe we're one of them."

"I think we can do that, thanks to the information Seth told us, we already know a little of the Fairy Clan background. Which reminds me, who was the information broker you were talking about earlier, Seth?" Rose said as she glanced aton her brother quizzically.

"My information broker goes by the name M. Robe. He is most likely a member of the Fairy Clan, but he's still a newbie. He entered the group about 3, or four years ago. At least that's what he told me."

"And how come he decided to help and give you all that secret information? A stranger like you?"

"The moment I saw the symbol I instantly changed my profile picture to the same one as his and started a conversation with him. I have to admit, at first it was hard to gain his trust. I was bombarded with several questions before he concluded that I am indeed one of them. Luckily I managed to explain to him about what happened in club, and mentioning the mystery note from the Black Clan. It seems they already know what happened in New York. Then I started explaining to him that I am not quite sure what to do next, and that I still don't have any place to stay here in Wausau-"

"From then on I gathered his trust and we were able to chat for hours. Hence, the information I got from him. He said that it's normal that newbies don't have access to much information. According to him, after the group's initiation the newbies are treated like newborns. They need to strive hard and learn how the group works, and not until their unwavering loyalty have been proven are they given the privilege to access confidential information from the group."

"I see. Just like the authority."

"Yes. And though I know you will hate doing this, but it seems we have no choice at the moment. We need to pretend to be members of the Fairy Clan. We need to pretend we're one of the enemy."
