CHAPTER 36

~ZENDAYA~

The sun rays from the window woke me up from my slumber. I've been sleeping a lot these days. Maybe to make up for the days of my sleepless nights in my father's house.

Yawning, I stretched and got done from the bed. Xander wasn't in the room. I checked the time and gracious, I was already running late for school.

I'll care about Xander later, now I need to prepare for school. Getting into the bathroom, I did my business and rushed out to dress up for school.

Today is my first time going to school from my mate's house as took Xander a sick leave for me.

I wanted to look different today so I applied a little makeup of just eyeliner and a clear lip gloss. After my visit to the hospital, Xander's aunt had become a frequent visitor here. Always calling me.

We bounded so well that a day wouldn't pass without us speaking on the phone. She made sure to buy skin care products to clear off my scars and I've noticed changes so far my scars are fading. I couldn't be more gratef
