Chapter 39: Eh?!

"Hey, Kira .."

I was taken back in the present when Boom poked me. He frowned at me and was obviously annoyed with me. What did I do here to make him look at me like that?

"Why are you stunned there? Wake up! Maybe our captives can escape here." he scolded me so I just pouted.

"Is there no one to redeem them? Or do they just really not want to pay?" I still complain while looking at the faces of these lower years. Ghad! Not even wearing an I.D., are they lazy? It's noon and it's really late that we set up the booth but how many did we still catch? This many!

"I'm going to pay for Sanchez!" I looked at the girl who shouted who was now looking at the guy inside the cage we had made. The woman paid the fee and the guy she was going to redeem was released. She stared at him and gave the I.D.

"You have to wear an I.D.! It's a pity if my money only goes to the jail booth! We should just have a marriage booth!" rebuke of the woman which the guy just laughed at.
