After my conversation with Lucien, my mood was so dampened that every little thing annoyed me so Sebastian suggested I go back home and I agreed.

Only Karla could lift up my mood at this point.

On our ride back home, Sebastian didn't say anything but with the way he glanced at me, it was obvious he had heard what had transpired between Lucien and I.

“I'm on your side though, you know that? But if Lucien calls and tells me he needs my help, I'll be there for him" Sebastian suddenly uttered as he turned to me and I didn't bother replying.

As soon as we got to the warehouse, I rushed towards the mansion and a smile appeared on my face at the thought of seeing and Holding Karla.

It was already late so I was sure she was already asleep. I opened my room door gently and I inhaled with my eyes closed, loving how her scent already invaded her room.

I remembered when I was spelled, I hated being in here because nothing felt right. Now I understand why
