Chapter 59 - Alessandra

I hear a howl resound through the clearing and turn quickly to see allied wolves break through the trees.  I’m not sure who they are, just that they aren’t a part of my pack.  

“Devin!  Xander!”  Arya calls to them, before turning and punching an enemy wolf so hard that his neck snaps back.  He’s instantly unconscious.  She quickly steps over his body and breaks his neck before falling back into line beside me.

So far, we’ve managed not to let anyone past us to get to the she-wolves.  We’re not foolish enough to believe that these males want them, but we know that they will be used against us.  And there’s no way that we can allow them to be hurt more than they already are.
