The ten shots and Chu Nian's improvisations

The first shot was a success. Even though, Colin was still on the set hooked with Actress Xia, the gazes and expressions of the director, editor, and producer were enough to prove that they were relieved. 

Carl along with everyone was now more thoughtful in a way to make Chu Nian highlight in the picture. In the morning when he saw her with Shirong, he was prejudiced thinking she won't be able to bring out the theme. 

Now that all of his thoughts were ruthlessly broken, he simply accepted them instead of throwing a tantrum and allowed himself to explore. This was carl. He would have his own thoughts, but like Shirong he will allow the talent to bloom and cast his personal feelings aside. 

The first shot was just an introductory shot where all the three characters were introduced. Now in the second shot Chu Nian, the stand-in had to show a reserved, shy expression of a teenage falling in love.
