Chapter 16

Hailey's pov;

Alex was practising in the water with other swimmers at the swimming pool stadium while I sat on the audience side and stared at him, but I was thinking about what Jason told me about Harry. Rehab? What, two years? Harry had been in rehab for two years. For what purpose? Jason stated that Harry mentioned my name so he remembers me, which is the thing that scared me the most. Is that to say he came here because of me? All of the information I received from Jason had jumbled my thoughts. I thought it was finished, but it's back.

A splash of water jolted me back to reality. I was soaked in water as I looked at my shirt. I stood up from my seat, and Alex yelled at the person who made the splash.

"It's my fault," I explained. "I should have sat further away from the pool."

While I was drying the hair with the towel Alex gave me, he said, "We can't leave like this," "Come with me."

"Where?"

He took my hand in his and said, "To the locker room."
