Chapter 46

Hailey's pov:

On the day of my college trip, while I was packing my clothes inside the bag, Alex asked, "Why are you being so slow?" And packed my clothes on my behalf. He took the bag and asked, "Did you pack everything for the trip?"

When i nodded, he asked, "You didn't forget anything, right?"

"No."

"Sit down and think for a minute about the things you packed. And try to remember if you forget something."

I closed my eyes as he instructed even though I knew I packed every necessary essential for the trip.

When I opened my eyes, he waited for my answer with those big eyes of his. I shook my head as my response and walked out of the room.

Minutes later, he dropped me off at the train station and said, "Enjoy the trip to the best and Have a great time with your friends."

"Aren't you sad that I'm leaving?"

He ruffled my hair asking, "It's only a three day trip. I don't think it's necessary to be upset. Let's go out once you return as we planned."

I thought he'll be sad and ask me not
