Cassie's POV

The days turned into weeks, and the looming darkness weighed heavily on my mind. The whispers of an impending evil grew louder, and a sense of urgency filled the air. We had to be prepared for whatever was coming.

Training became more intense, with the packs pushing themselves to their limits. Every day, I worked alongside Alder, honing our abilities and perfecting our bond. Our love was our greatest strength, and we knew we would need it to face the challenges ahead.

In the midst of our preparations, I sought guidance from Celina. As the true Luna and my mother, she possessed wisdom that I needed to understand the ancient prophecies.

"Cassie, my dear, the darkness you're sensing is ancient, older than our kind," Celina explained as we sat together in her study. "It's a force that seeks to disrupt the balance of the supernatural world and bring chaos."

"But why is it coming now?" I asked, my brow furrowed in confusion.

Celina's eyes held a solemn look. "The prophecies spe
