Chapter 109 The City Breaks Down

Miller felt like he was dreaming about his encounters these days. First, he had struggled to make ends meet and joined the militia, and then, during a delivery of supplies to the city, he had inexplicably been pulled in to guard the city gates.

Miller, whose sharpest weapon he had ever held before had been scissors, was now a member of the garrison carrying a lance and a sword at his waist.

Dressed in Shiloh's standard armor, Miller stroked his sword at his waist with one hand as he walked the western gateway to the city of Odysseus, cursing and urging on the militia that came and went carrying supplies.
