Chapter 126 Greetings

Old Billy put on his formal clothes, which he hadn't worn in close to five years, early in the morning and asked his partner to put on his bow tie.

"Why do you have to be so formal?" The old man muttered, but his hands were still sharp.

"Of course it has to be official!" Old Billy's eyes widened, "This time our sons and daughters of Mine Town are back, and I, the mayor of the town, must not represent the whole town and greet them?"

It had been too long since the bowtie had been worn, and old Billy remembered that the last time he had worn it was when he had gone to a dinner party at the Baron's Castle a few years ago before he had been dressed so formally.

Fighting back the discomfort in his body, old Billy straightened up and headed out the door, his home was in the center of town and he now needed to go to the mouth of town to join the whole town and wait for the men of Mine Town who had returned from enlisting in the army.
