A hint of hatred flashed across Terry’s face when he heard what Quincy said. He said in a hurtful tone, “If you hadn’t lost your memories, you wouldn’t say something like that.”

If she had not lost her memories, he would not have to tell her to leave Dayton. She would not stay with him of her own accord.

Quincy knew that her memory loss was a huge disadvantage, so she could not tell if he was telling the truth or lying to her.

“Since you know that, you should take out some evidence instead of telling me such ridiculous words.”

He needed to have some evidence if he wanted to tell her that Dayton was her enemy. If he did not do so, she would not believe him.

“I know that you don’t trust me now. I’ve tried looking for evidence, but Dayton destroyed a lot of it. I can’t take out any evidence for the time being. However, I won’t give up.”

“Let’s talk after you have evidence.” Quincy was slightly annoyed now. She wanted to ask him to leave, but her eyes suddenly felt slightl
