" Go and take my morning shoes in the bedroom, the floor is a bit cold ".
She stood up, went to look for them without an issue. She felt different about doing what she was asked to do because it had never happened before.
She came back with them, brought them to him, presented them with two hands with respect. He just smiled at her and made her sit on his lap. They watched a funny romantic comedy of which it was Candice's favorite kind of thing.
"Babe, may you please switch on the electric gezer for me, I just want to run a quick bath to make myself warm before I get into bed.".
She was in the bedroom planning to go and take a bath in the bathroom, or at least shower.
Candice quickly got into bed, slept like she had been sleeping all night. No one saw nothing, she got excited by the fact that she won the first game, she played it so very much well, like a certificated girl. She was expecting a call from Wisdom but he didn't call to check up on her, to check if she had arrived safely just like any guy would have done, just like what every girl would expect from a guy she had spent a night with.Everything came back into her mind, like a student who just remembered what and how to answer an essay question in an examination room. How the argument began, how it grew, how it developed into something so beautiful that they had on their last night. Candice was the sticky type in relationships, she loved having only one guy, not more than that.
A morning fell into a day, a day that fell into a night and a night that formed another day, with Candice struggling to reach her guy. Not that his phone was off or something, he just just decided not to take them or even reply to her texts. There was a time whereby Candice would just stay online, waiting for Wisdom to be online. I don't know if that could be defined under "Desperation" or what. Awkward thing is Wisdom was online at most times but he never responded to any of her texts. That emotionally destroyed her, she had an emotional breakdown, she thought of texting her brother and reversed that thought again, simply because she knew that he was going to snap at her, well not really snapping a
After a few days without contacting her, she decided to apply into a few universities and colleges, apply for Journalism since she was in love with it, she thought she would survive in the field. She was into law also but she thought that field requires a lot sacrifices that she never thought she would be able to meet. Time was a problem...i mean she had to balance her work life together with social life and school life...which was a bit of a killer to her. One thing she noticed and didn't want to notice is that he hardly checked up on her,he never called her, let alone taking her calls whenever she tried calling him. He acted like a married guy yet she knew very well that he wasn't married. His a
She wondered when she was going to be back to his house again. She enjoyed being with the guy. But on second thought she told herself that she must not be a frequent guest, not just for the guy's wrong reasons but she had strict parents, strict family and most of all a Christian family. Putting it bluntly... Struggling children are usually the ones who succeed more than the rich kids, maybe its the rule of nature I don't know but it looks like it is. Plus the wealthy people in the universe are mostly the ones who have had bad and poor backgrounds. The only thing she did the next morning was to take a great bubble bath, dressed herself nicely, put on her best outfit and made her way to town to look for a job.
Fortunately for her everything went well, the great hospitality she received was warm and that warmed her heart in an unimaginable way. She learnt all the ropes but not all of them. She learn Italian cuisine, Chinese cuisine and of course the western food. How to cut and chop veggies and how to peel seafood and it looked like hard work to her when it was but that was nothing compared to what she had to do the next day. Her Hardest part was chopping lots of countless onions... She almost dropped down like a young kid sighting a ghost because of that, but good thing is she told herself that she was going to get used to it like everybody did, like everybody does.
Honestly the guy wouldn't have minded with seeing her there, he was just cool and understanding, its just that girls will always have lose screws in their heads. Candice never wanted him to know about her struggles, never in a million years. But then that never stopped them from having their meetings. She was always excited about them, actually the two was hard to understand, one minute they are cool the next there is huge tension. Their meetings went on and on until a guy walked into Candice's life. She never wanted to mix guys in her life, she saw it bitchy, besides honesty was one of her principles. Her brother had taught her to involve herself with only o
They had fun, everything was perfect but not as perfect as Candice wanted to. She was having sleepovers again and again. Her family was not much of a problem to her, not because they didn't want to be but she wanted them to be. Her mother was tired of shouting at her daily, punishing her for the guy she didn't even know about. They decided to let her be, let her stray the way she wanted to. I mean she was an adult and she was aware of the truth so it was useless crying over spilt milk. But with the respect she had, she tried until she won regaining their trust again. She was smart, but in an unimaginable way. She was the type of a dog that you never see comin
By the time they were rushing her, she was already on a corner where there was a small hole, doing all her works there. She was shocked on what was happening and why. But she became better after taking lots of water. Wisdom rung in her head, she thought of pregnancy and switched that thought again in half a minute. Simply because she didn't want to get her friends worried, so she just tucked in the belt and went back straight to them, she talked, she laughed, she was just all smiles, happy lime nothing had just occurred. Its true when they say “ YOU CAN RUN AWAY AND GET WHERE YOU WANT TO BUT A MEMORY DOESN'T RUN AWAY, IT STAYS!!! Even when she got home, his thought was still there, she sat on
