CHAPTER 16

"Daughter is everything okay, you seem a little distracted today?"

At that moment Brian's wife was having a hissy fit because of me. I don't know if she found out that he was with me this morning but she implied that I was his curse because his marriage didn't work out. She looked at me with a face like she wanted to swallow me alive, but I didn't care, I pretended she didn't exist for me. Soon after dinner we got together and finally the official proposal came, I didn't know what to say at that moment and everyone was waiting for my answer.
