Bea's past still affects her no matter how hard she tries to forget it. She still couldn't bear to be in the same room with them not because she was still in love with Austin, but rather because the guilt was still there.

Yes, they already had talked about it before and had closure but Bea was trapped and had no courage to face them, not when she just started to hang out with Anna. She's trying to make new friends but her fear of condemnation hunts her. Anna seemed to know Lauren. They know each other, and that makes Bea run with fear in her heart.
