I left my house and headed for Pedro's house. He wasn't supposed to be interfering in my relationship with Eva anymore and instead he paid my ex to say that the photos were real.

As I was walking along I ran into a friend who lived nearby.

—Where are you going?

—I'm going to look for Pedro.

—How come? He said.

—I don't know if you heard that Eva and I were trying to have a thing and he intervened, apologized after we had a fight and now he's coming out with apologies after we had a fight and now he comes out with that he paid Angela to ruin all

—I didn't know that, but are you sure?

—The person who said it is trustworthy.

—I don't think it was Pedro who was to blame for everything. It could have been your ex and she only said that so you wouldn't hate her.

—Why are you defending Pedro so much?

—I'm just telling you not to act without knowing who is to blame.

I didn't want to keep arguing with him, so I kept walking. Two blocks away was Pedro with some boys. I stopped because I realized he was with three other friends and it was a risk to go looking for trouble. His friends could intervene and leave me in a bad way. I preferred to wait until I found him alone and have a fight without anyone else getting involved. So I went back home. When I arrived I found my mom, she told me she needed to talk to me.

—I don't want you to be with that girl anymore. If things haven't worked out, it's because she's not for you, you can't be together. I forbid you to see her.

—If it is for me, there is a person who is doing all this. You have to let me see her, give me some time and I'll solve everything with Pedro, please.

After saying this I started to cry.

—Can't you see the damage she is doing to you? I have never seen you like this, son.

—Because this is the first time I love like this and you are not able to understand me.

PART OF THE BOOK FROM EVA'S POINT OF VIEW.

After Angela said that, my heart broke. I didn't understand what her intentions were. I didn't know what to think, on the one hand I trusted Samuel and on the other she could be telling the truth.

I ran to a classroom and my best friend followed me. I called my mom to come get me and my excuse was that there was no more class for the day.

When I left the classroom, I was thankful that Samuel was no longer there. The other people just stared at me.

I continued walking. When I got home, I ate, showered and went to my room to cry.

It was three in the morning and I was still awake. I wanted to hear from Samuel, to send him a text but he was most likely asleep. I sent him a message anyway.

PART OF THE BOOK AS SEEN FROM SAMUEL'S POINT OF VIEW.

I was in my safe place. I would go there when everything was going very wrong in my life. I just kept thinking over and again and again about that woman, before I knew it, it was three in the morning. My phone vibrated and I took it out of my pants to see who it was. Eva had sent me a message.

—Hi, how are you feeling?

—Not good, and you?

—Bad too.

—My mom forbade me to see you, but I'm still going to.

—Oh, my God.

—I'll see you tomorrow at school and we'll have a serious talk.

The next day I woke up, took a bath, got dressed, had breakfast and went to school. Today I would see Eva and we would talk about the people who are interfering in the relationship. We would make everything clear.

I arrived and found Pedro alone. I felt like hitting him, but I could not,

even though he was without company. I didn't want to have any more problems at school and if I did that, they would take me to the I would be taken to the coordination office and most likely I would be expelled. So I decided to suck it up and keep walking.

I walked into the classroom and saw all my corresponding classes. I was waiting for Eva and she never came. After fifteen minutes I saw her come in, she had dark circles under her eyes, it was obvious she hadn't slept well. She greeted me and sat sat down next to me. I told her that the teacher was already in her classroom and she answered me:

—I don't care, I just want to sort this out now.

—Well, that's fine.

—Why can't we just be fine without someone interrupting?

—They don't want to see us together and happy. Yesterday my mom forbade me to see you.

—Why didn't she?

—When I found out that Pedro paid Angela, I was very upset and went to look for him, I didn't do anything because I was with some friends and they could intervene and make me feel bad. She got worried, since we've been in a lot of trouble lately.

And I guess if those guys hadn't been there, I would have fought with him again.

—What we have to do is not indulge them, that's the best solution. With everything you you've done you've shown that you really want to be with me.

—By this you mean we can have something.

—Well, yes.

She said that and a happiness ran through my whole body, I got up and hugged her. Then we stared into each other's eyes and that was our first kiss. Her lips tasted like honey and they were cold. At that moment a teacher interrupted us and i told her that we are going to kiss again soom.

—Eva, you've been out the chemistry class for half an hour. What are you doing here? And your Samuel you could left at 11:40, you shouldn't be here.

—Yes, Eva is going to her classroom and I'm leaving.

I left, but happier than ever. We had our first kiss. The truth had me spellbound. When I got home my mom wasn't home, so I put music on my phone and put on my headphones.
