Draco's POV - Missing

I knew I had to go see her. I needed to feel her calm. I knew the intensity of what Master had said. It wasn't something unknown but probably something I had forgotten. Somehow, being with Liana, she never made me feel that she was different from me and Damian. We were always like a family. That's what it felt.

Talking of family, I just realised that I had come back in a rush. I had forgotten to bring Damian along. What was I going to tell Liana about it? How would I explain?

I knew that Liana would not be happy about it, and I started to think of excuses to tell her. Maybe I could say that I had to stay late at work, or that I had forgotten something important at the office. But deep down, I knew that these excuses wouldn't work. I had to be honest and apologize for my mistake.

I came to the door and rang the bell like normal humans. Normally I would land straight on her roof and then sneak in. Tonight, I wanted to do it her way. Expecting her to greet me with a smile.
