When you are in love, everything looks so beautiful. I never thought I would fall for my bully. I never thought the man I feared the most would become my comforter. I love when he feels jealous of me.

I feel like the luckiest person in this world to have a friend like Matt. I couldn’t think of getting through exams without his help. With him, everything seems easy. I always adored him, telling him he had some magical powers to make challenging topics easy for me. Nevertheless, I thought about asking for Xander’s help, but Xander—being Xander, was never interested in studies.

He was starting to get jealous of Matt, and I could tell.

“Where are you? I want to see you.”

“I am at my dorm.”

“Okay, can I come to your room and sit with you?” he begged.

“Sit and do what? Xander, you know it will not work. You will distract me.” I lied, but I knew what was important at that moment.

“Fine,” he snorted, making me feel bad. “Girls would die to meet me, and you—you have changed, Aoife. You
