Part 27:: Stuck

Anica's POV

"Thank you," I said waving goodbye to my brother and my friend, they were about to head out.

Caspian was not here in the house when we got here. He must be still on the bar-drinking.

"I will have a word with that scum when he gets here, tell him I said so," Aaron said. "By the way, your personal doctor will check on you here later, you stubborn human!"

"All right, I get it. I just don't like hospitals and the media are gettin' into my nerves."

"So your coping mechanism is using your power to bring hospital inside your house? tsk. So witty.- The undeniably intelligent brain of yours."

The sarcastic tone. Aaron knows that I do not really use our family's power to my own benefit but that does not mean that I won't use it.

I hired a personal doctor to check up on me because I wanted to go home- there's peace.
