Kara felt a hand slipping in her own as she stood in front of the tombstones of her mom and dad. Her hand shivered and she immediately snatched it back, away from James' grasp. She then proceeded to take a few steps and bend down on her knees to place the while roses on the stone. Her hands slid back to rest on her knees as she guiltily tried to not break down in tears. She did not want James to be here right now. This was the first time since their death that she had come to see them. She felt ashamed.

In her heart, she prayed for her mom's forgiveness for breaking a promise that she should not have. A hand was suddenly on her shoulders, pulling her sideways.
