"Let's stop, Aaron. It's already 8:40. C'mon, let's go have breakfast now," I say whilst forcefully taking Aaron's laptop from him and closing the tabs. "Wait! Five more minutes. Let's finish that design," Aaron whines. I just ignore him and shuts down his laptop, causing him to leave a sigh. Aaron didn't have football practice today. So we decided to work on our video game for some time before class. We both came to school at 7 and had been sitting here in the common room, working on the game until now. Aaron got so immersed that he doesn't want us to stop now, even if there is only twenty minutes for the bell and we haven't had our breakfast yet. "C'mon now, we are gonna be late to class," I say whilst quickly placing his laptop in his bag and zipping it up before giving it to him. Aaron lazily gets up, taking his bag. I hurriedly grab my own bag and sling it on my shoulder before grabbing Aaron's hands and rushing in direction of the canteen.I get stares from people on both s
I shut down my laptop at 6 Am and plop down on my bed, quickly crawling under the blankets. I've two more hours to sleep. Actually, today I and Aaron had planned to go to school early and find Aaron's mystery girl. But Aaron isn't well, so we postponed the investigation. Aaron had a heavy headache yesterday. It started while we were doing the combine study. Yesterday, Ty wasn't as harsh on him as last day and Aaron was enthusiastically doing all the problems. But then he suddenly started having a headache and he literally started wincing and groaning in pain. He said he is frequently getting headaches for some time but he has never got such a heavy headache before. No, he wasn't acting at all. It was real. We all were sitting on the big couch and he held my hand and was almost squeezing my wrist in pain. I and Ty were panicked seeing him like that. Even Ty didn't say anything when he fell on his shoulder whilst holding his head in his hands. At last, I started giving Aaron a fore
I reach the Geography class and get immersed in a talk about today's basketball match with two guys who were sitting at the desk in front of me. They are pretty confident that our school team will win this match. Just after Mr. Williams enters our classroom, I take my phone and text Ty that it was a prank and Aaron is perfectly alright. I then place my phone in my pocket and tries to concentrate in the class. However, soon my attention deviates as I notice Brent staring at me from across the classroom. Like always, he looks away on getting caught. I side-eye him for the rest of the hour and the whole time he was stealing glances at me. I wonder if he got a crush on me or something. "Hey Caroline.." someone calls from behind me as I walk towards my next class, which is actually computer science, so the computer lab. I turn around to see an unknown girl. "Hi, how do you know my name?" I ask smiling. "I know you are Tyler's cousin. You heard about what happened to him?" She asks.
The basketball stadium filled with loud claps and cheers as our team walked into the court wearing shiny blue jerseys with Harbinger Pistons imprinted on the back. There were still ten more minutes for the commencement of the match but the court was already filled with a good lot of spectators. I think almost all the students stayed back to watch the match. Standing up from the bleachers, I and Aaron clapped and screamed along with the crowd, yelling Ty's name to gain his attention. He was already glancing around in the stadium and soon his gaze fell on us. He glared at us, signaling me that he was still mad at me for pulling that prank on him. Okay, I agree he has every right to be mad at me. He started throwing up when he had the match in just two hours. His whole team got worried thinking he won't be able to play. But he is now looking perfectly alright after taking a rest for two hours in the nurse's room. "C'mon Aaron..." I said and walked down the bleachers. I reached near
I sit on my desk chair staring at my laptop screen, the video I shot from Mr. Morris's office playing on mute in front of my eyes. The match is over. Our team won. Now what? Yes, time to upload the epic video and kick Mr principal out of his chair. And this is the best time to peacefully do the work. Ty has just gone to take a shower and I'm sure he'll need quite a long time inside his bathtub to wash out all the exhaustion of today. He is really frustrated after the heated talk with his best friend, so he'll definitely take some time to get out of there. Now you'll be wondering why I need so much time to just upload a video. It's because, before posting the video, I also need to do something else, which is something quite big. Guess what, there's definitely CCTV inside Mr. Morris's office. So it captures everything that happens inside the office perfectly well. I need to erase the footage of Monday morning as I'll be clearly captured in the cameras, leaving the office just a
Tyler's POV My room door clicks open and Carrie comes barging in with a worried expression on her face just as I'm about to go to bed. "Aaron hasn't reached home yet. And no one knows where he is," she says. "What do you mean?" I frown, confused. "I meant what I said. His Mom called his friend Archer Spade, asking whether he knows where Aaron is. And Archer just texted me asking if he is with me." I look at the clock and see the time is almost 11 Pm. And it is heavily raining outside. Where has Aaron gone instead of going back home? "Both Asher and Aaron are missing. Nobody has been able to contact either of them yet. Ty, I'm afraid Asher kidnapped Aaron and did something to him." "What the hell! Just shut up Caroline! Asher isn't a monster or anything." "But then where is Aaron? Why are they missing together and not picking up calls," she asks. "Is their phones switched off?" I ask. "No, just not answering calls," she says. “I think we should track their phones and
Caroline's POV "Wait! Did I lose my way or something? Why haven't I reached the junction yet?" I say to myself whilst moving forward on the seat to look properly on both sides of the road. I can barely read the names of the few shops here and there, due to the heavy downpour, and I have no idea whether I'm going in the right direction or not. It's almost fifteen minutes since I'm driving Aaron's car but I haven't reached the Witalder major junction yet. Seems like I took a different turn or something. I take my feet from the gas and slowly park the car on one side of the road. Then I switch on the GPS of the car to see where I'm right now. Great! I've definitely taken the wrong turn and I'm now ten minutes away from the junction. I sigh and proceed to turn the car but then I notice a figure sitting on a little far away bench, letting themselves be drenched in the heavy rain. I couldn't help but frown. Are they crazy? Or is it because they don't have an umbrella? But there are
I don't really know why they didn't just give us leave today. It's the second hour and no teacher has come to teach us yet. Currently, I'm sitting in the extreme back of geography class, simply peering at my phone screen. There are only a few students in the class. The others are probably in the canteen or library, discussing what is going to happen to our school or are wandering near the meeting hall, trying to get some news. A meeting is going on there to elect a new principal for our school. Yes, that's right, Mr. Morris already lost his job. There was a large crowd of students in front of Mr. Morris' office today morning. Our school manager, PTA board members, and many other important people were inside there along with Mr. Morris and Miss Payton. I heard people saying that Mr. Morris and the lady were so flustered and pale. There are also rumors that both were called to the police station yesterday night. They aren't arrested or anything but got some penalty and warning. N
