7. Revenge plan

"What's your next hour?" Aaron asked me as we finally walked out of the library after the bell rang. We had thought a lot about how to prevent Asher from tutoring Aaron today, but none of our plans seemed to work.

"Chemistry," I replied.

"Oh! Chemistry? Me too." Aaron said surprised.

"Woah! This is the 4th class we share," I was quite surprised.

"Guess this will be the last. I don't share more than four subjects with anyone," he said.

"How many subjects do you share with Ty?" I asked.

"Three. Maths, Biology, and Physics," he said.

I nodded. So I can't watch the two in Biology and Physics class. "What's your elective subject?"

"Computer science. What's your's?"

"That breaks the record. I also took computer science," I said turning to him.

"Oh..really ?", he laughed. But then suddenly a frown took over his features and soon he was glaring hard at someone who was probably standing in front of us.

I turned to see none else than Asher. He was standing at just an inch's distance from us, crossing his arms over his chest. My face also took an annoyed expression. He is the last person I wish to see. And why the hell is he now in front of us?

"So Aaron, you got a new friend, hmm?" Asher said in a tone I really didn't like.

"What you want now?" Aaron asked frustrated.

Asher sighed and turned his attention to me. "You are Ty's cousin, right? I didn't know it yesterday." oh so now he understood? How?

"If you knew it, you wouldn't have done that cheap thing to me?" I asked.

He chuckled. "Maybe not. Anyway, forget that," he said nonchalantly.

Oh, how dare he say it like that? He told a mountain of lies to the principal yesterday and got me one-week detention. And he is telling me to forget that? What does he think of himself? This jerk!

"Do you know who he is?" he asked me, pointing his finger at Aaron.

"Yeah, I know who he is. He is Aaron Miller," I said crossing my arms across my chest.

"Yeah..that's right. But do you know what he did to your brother?"

"I don't care to know," I said blankly.

"You must know it if you like Ty at least a little bit," he said. Anger boiled inside my veins. Aaron wasn't lying a bit when he told, this jerk tries to make everyone despise him. I literally want to punch this evil creature.

"Okay, I will ask Ty. You don't need to explain to me," I snapped.

"You better not ask him. It will hurt him a lot. And Ty hates even hearing his name," he said. Aaron's face turned pale at that comment.

"You don't need to care so much about my brother," I spat back at Asher.

"I'll care. Because he is my friend. And I like him so much, unlike you who join hands with his enemy," Asher said, still maintaining his calm composure. He was getting on my nerves. I didn't know what to say anymore. I was literally burning in anger.

"Ann, come..we are getting late to class," Aaron said grabbing my hands. Then he literally started dragging me away from the Asher devil while I scoffed to leave my hands. I turned my head to see him glaring at our intertwined fingers. Bitch!

"Aaron! I want to kill that Asshole!" I nearly yelled trying to yank my hands out of Aaron's grip.

"Calm down Ann. If not he'll get you into more trouble. He won't consider you are Ty's cousin," Aaron whispered. I sighed in frustration and yanked my hands free.

"Hey, Aaron!" Some guy suddenly called from behind. Aaron turned while I continued walking forward in annoyance.

"Where are you going? Mr. Henry said to come to the chemistry lab today," I heard the guy say and so I stopped.

"Oh..we have lab today? Great!", Aaron hummed before turning to me.

"C'mon..Ann, chemistry lab is that way.", I sighed and walked back to him. “Ann, this is Archer, my friend. He is also on the football team with me.” Aaron introduced the guy to me.

“Oh..” I hummed.

“And Archer this is..”

“I know, Caroline. You joined here yesterday, right?”, the guy asked me before Aaron could introduce me to him.

“Yeah..how did you know?” I asked.

“I’m with you in History,” he replied. Great! So he was there when I got called to the principal's office. I sighed and looked away.

I think I already got a bad reputation in this school. Maybe by now, everyone heard about the new girl who managed to get one week of detention on the first day itself. Yeah, a lot of people were giving me wild stares in the corridors and in the last three classes. Also, I heard people murmuring things behind me. But I just didn’t mind them. This isn’t anything new to me. I’ve even publicly slapped a popular asshole in my previous school and gained attention for a whole week.

Anyway, Archer didn’t ask me anything about yesterday’s incident as the three of us together walked in direction of the chemistry lab. Probably he understood I'm not in a good mood. He was conversing with Aaron, something about football and I didn't care to listen. I was thinking about what to do to that Asher. He just confessed he likes Ty and indirectly told me that I don't like him. I think I shouldn't just destroy his FF account. I must do something more before deleting it. Ahh..but I want to do something right now!

"Aaron! Let's get some sulphuric acid from the lab and pour it on that bitch's face," Suddenly I scoffed, causing Archer to look at me with an open mouth.

Aaron chuckled nervously. "Don't mind her. She's just blabbering," he then squeezed my hands indicating me to shut up.

Within a minute we reached the chemistry lab. Mr. Henry and a lot of students were already inside. I guess we are the last to arrive. Archer asked permission and the three of us walked inside after Mr. Henry motioned us to come in. We took position in the front of the long marble desk as it was really crowded towards the back.

"So children, listen carefully, today we are gonna do salt analysis," Mr. Henry said. "I had already asked you to write and study the steps. So I hope you have learned it. Anyway, I'll be showing the process once before you do it yourself. Before that let's recollect the sodium compounds we studied in the last class. First, we have sodium phosphate." He said pointing at a watch glass containing a white crystalline powder. A guy who was standing near him touched the sugary powder with his finger and raised it to his nose. "Hello it isn't sugar," Mr. Henry hummed. "Have it and you can suffer from diarrhea." The whole lab burst out laughing at that.

'Diarrhoea?? Nice.' I said in mind and smirked looking at the powder. Mr. Henry continued his lecture and finally, he started showing us the steps in the salt analysis. Then something odd happened. Aaron borrowed a pen and paper from a girl near us and started scribbling down the steps. I thought he was like me. But now why is he suddenly acting like a nerd?

Once Mr. Henry was done, he asked us to pair up and do the experiment. Two girls immediately rushed to Aaron and started bickering with each other.

"Hey! One of you be my pair," I said to the girls as I didn't find a pair yet. But the girls continued their argument, ignoring me. And Aaron already started doing the experiment without minding them.

I looked around to see if I could get someone to become my partner. Only then I noticed Mia and Brent standing at the back, looking at me with scrunched eyebrows. Shit! They are going to go tell Ty that I came to the lab with Aaron and I'm now close with him.

I quickly turned around looking whether there is someone standing alone. But everyone had paired except the two girls beside me, who were still quarreling. I didn't really know how to do this analysis and I badly needed a pair.

Anyway at last Mr. Henry came to us and shouted at the girls to shut up. He paired them both into a team and asked me to be Aaron's pair. I was more than glad as Aaron seemed to know how to do this.

"You've quite a lot of girls behind you," I said to Aaron and he sighed. "You better date one of them if you want to get rid of a lot of them. After all, you don't think you must wait for someone as you believe you won't get second chances."

He clicked his tongue on his cheek and went to take a beaker. I guess he didn't like what I just said. But he can't say anything back. He needs my help. Maybe I'm a bit evil at mind but let me admit honestly, I too enjoy hurting him a bit for bullying my poor Ty.

"You might have a chance if you hadn't dated that girl and did things like kissing girls in the janitor's closet. Now I can't even give you any guarantee that Ty would forgive you. But I'd just help you as I promised," I said wanting to see that pained expression on his face. Not only that I got it but he also didn't say anything. I was kinda satisfied.

Aaron did the whole procedure and finished the salt analysis successfully. The whole time I just simply stood there and watched him doing everything. He looked kinda upset and pissed but also hot at the same time. I chuckled inwardly looking at him. At last, he called Mr. Henry over and told him our salt. We both got 5 marks for today's lab performance.

"Good. Keep it up. You guys can leave now," Mr. Henry said impressed. We were one of the first teams to complete the analysis.

"Thank you, sir," I said and nodded smiling at Mr. Henry as if I did the majority of the experiment. I know what I'm doing is bad. I didn't help Aaron a bit. But he didn't lose anything for that. And at this point, I've decided I'm gonna make use of Aaron in chemistry as I've found he is good at this. I should get something in return for helping him right?

Mr. Henry walked to the desk on the other side and Aaron proceeded to leave, folding and placing the paper he had written the notes in his pocket. "Hey! Give me that paper," I said to him.

"Why? I want this," he said.

"Give it. I want it," I said sternly. He frowned. "C'mon...I'll give it to you later." Finally, he sighed and took the paper out of his pocket, handing it to me. Then he briskly walked out of the lab with a frustrated look on his face. I just chuckled to myself and unfolded the paper.

I grabbed the watch glass in which sodium Phosphate was kept. I quickly dropped the powder into the paper and folded it without anyone noticing. Then I quickly walked out of the lab, placing it in my jeans pocket. I walked through the corridor thinking to go to the canteen and sit there for some time as there's plenty of time for the next hour. Also, there's something I need to plan thoroughly, although I have already planned it.

As I reached the main hallway I saw Aaron standing in front of the notice board, the notice board he dragged me to yesterday. He was probably looking at the pic of the basketball team, maybe looking at Asher or at Ty. I walked to him silently. And then I was really surprised to see Aaron suddenly brushing away the tears in his eyes on realizing someone approaching him.

"Oh..it was you?" he looked up and chuckled on seeing me, avoiding eye contact. I think he wished I didn't see his teary eyes. At that moment I felt sorry. Maybe I really hurt him. I didn’t think he was this sensitive.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

"Yeah..I'm good. Oh..I need to go somewhere," he said and ran away from me.

I went to the canteen and sat down at a table, thinking. I felt I should seriously help Aaron. I suddenly feel a connection with this boy whom I just met yesterday. And I came to Know a lot of things about him just in these two days. And just now I found an interesting thing about him that, Aaron runs away without letting anyone catch him when he isn't alright. Yesterday also he did that after his encounter with Asher. I decided it was enough hurting him. I should be the person who'd catch him when he tries to run rather than a person who'd enjoy hurting him like Asher.

Talking about Asher, I've planned something nice for him. I don't know whether this will work or not. But let me just try. I took my phone and typed 'Sodium Phosphate poisoning' on G****e. After carefully reading through five or six articles and finding what I'm going to do is safe, I finally stood up and walked in direction of the locker room.

The locker room was empty, considering it was the middle of an hour. I opened my locker and took out my bag. I fished out my water bottle and then took out the folded paper from my pocket. I opened the cap of the bottle and unfolded the paper, dropping the crystalline powder little by little into the bottle. I only added half of what I took and dusted away the rest from the paper before folding it back and placing it in my pocket. I need to give it back to Aaron.
