Chapter Sixteen

Gustavo Alvarez was in his house working on some office files when Amelia drove in with her car and parked by the driveway.

Gustavo was aware that someone just parked in his driveway, he thought it might just be Santiago or Àngel or rather the both of them, but he never knew it was his betrothed Amelia.

Amelia walked in and she was not looking happy, Gustavo was surprised to see her at his house, she didn’t call to say she was going to come to visit him at his place, he saw her countenance immediately she walked in but he cared less about her.

“You are here, and I’ve been trying to get through to you and you are ignoring my calls,” Amelia said this time her eyes were burning with anger. But Gustavo was not moved by that.

“Amelia, I’m working I’m sure you’re not so blind to see that” Gustavo replied without looking up at her as he continued to type on his computer.
