Love has no classes

Nasha returned home, battered and shattered. She couldn’t fathom why a person could incur all the problems in the world upon herself.

And as soon as Annabel arrived at the house to inquire about the earlier incident, she was dismissed immediately as Nasha said,

“I don’t want to talk about it. I beg to have my space for the moment”.

Then Annabel left sadly. And she shut the door, as she soliloquized,

“Why me? Why now? Why...?”.

She lifted the small jar of flowers and smashed it on the wall, then threw herself on the floor like a woman whose husband was killed in the battle Field.

“This has to end! This has to end now! I am exhausted by everything! Is it a crime to come from a lower class? It’s obvious that the world is against me!”

She remained at that same spot and wept bitterly.

One of Nasha’s parents died when she was ten and she was left in the care of her poor father; whose only means of livelihood was Shoemaking.
