Rowan whistled as I got into the passenger's seat.

"What?"

"Remind me never to mess with you!" He laughed.

I narrowed my eyes at him. I wanted to tell him that he had crossed the limits to which he could mess with me and I had half a mind to tell him that, but I was keeping my peace.

"Well done, Joshua." I turned my head around to look at my still-sleeping niece and nephew. "You get to keep your job."

I narrowed my eyes at him when he mumbled incoherently and then we were on our way to the office.

"Yes, you look like your Mommy Rose. It would have been so bad if you had looked like Mommy Bee!" Zoe cooed as she played with Fiona. I was rocking Jamie in my arms.

I wanted to tell her that that is not how it worked and the kids had Bianca's genetic components but I guessed that she probably meant it as a joke.
