A day had passed, and it seems her parents are not oblivious to Matty's sudden disappearance. Truthfully, they already had a clue where she might've been so they didn't opt to call the police as it could alert Mariano who has enormous connections in the police hierarchy.
I really wish to tell Irene yesterday that I'm Caroline but the situation doesn't call for it. Also, she is already busy coordinating with Black Wolf about the transfer of her parents' grave here in Capital City. I think I should put that on hold for now, what's important right now is Matty's safety.
