Of course, everyone was always laughing here and there. She tried harder not to be distracted by those big pretty eyes, or overwhelmed by the feeling that she didn’t belong.

Maria felt uglier every second she spent there. Being laughed at by everyone she met wasn’t helping much

. But it was better than what they will do if they saw her real face. Maria wondered if she would even recognize Boat Ryan without his mask. She had only seen his real face without a mask only once before his operation,it was during their first week as a freshman when they both met at the school auditorium.

Boat Ryan felt he could confide in her ,he told her the reason he had to wear clown mask to school because he got a scar from fire accident and showed her ,his scar.

What had happened to him was quite smiliar to this case of Maria.

He told her, he enjoyed wearing Joker's mask cause he is this Idiol who is just like him.
