[Vida's Point of View]

"Congrats, Vida!" Faye hugged me tightly, so I did the same.

"That's enough, I can't breathe," I jokingly told her. But she also got off me and squeezed my cheek lightly. I didn't retaliate either.

“You are really great, dear. You are already talented and smart. I really hope I am the same with you! ”

I stared at her. "It's just luck, Faye," I countered.

"Asus!" She then laughed at me. Lola Clarita, who had just signed my card, approached us. "Lola, will Vida have a blow-out later?" Faye asked. I tapped her.

I saw Grandma just smile and turn her gaze to me. "Won't you look at your report card, Vida?"

I shook my head. I'd rather not look at it because it's unbelievable. I really thought I wouldn't go to honors because I always sleep in class and sometimes I am late submitting assignments and projects. Actually, I'm feeling very fortunate because I've been in the top five.
