Chapter Fifty-eight

Finally, we arrive at home and I go directly to my room and slump on the mattress. It feels good to be able to sense the touch of the soft mattress and not the boulder at the jail cell.

" phew! I take a sharp sigh as I fondle my paunch, now filled with two medium cheeseburgers and a large cup of coffee, the way I like it. Thanks to Sam we were apt to at some restaurant on our way back home and had something to eat, it was her treat since I had no cash on me.

While I am enjoying my soft mattress, I hear the phone vibrating on the bed and quickly I jumped hoping it might be Greg's call, I ransack the entire place and finally, I found it lying at the corner of the bed.
