Meanwhile 4:00 pm ....

I heard a small knock on the door and it slowly creaked open , I looked up to see Brett walk in and my eyes slowly went wide not externally though.

"Brett!" I called surprised as I sat up in my chair.

"You're here , what a surprise!"

"How did you know, I'd be here!" I murmured surprised .
