Coming out clean

Ariana's POV

As Logan pulled up in front of the resort, I gathered my things and prepared to get out of the car. He looked at me, his eyes softening, and I knew that he was about to say something important.

"I miss working with you," he said, his voice wistful.

I smiled at him, feeling the familiar pang of nostalgia. Although we didn't work together for a long time , I had always enjoyed our collaborations. But now reverse was the case and it seemed like those days were gone forever.

"It's only a matter of time," I said, trying to sound hopeful.

"We'll work together again, Logan. I know we will."

He nodded, and I could see the doubt in his eyes. I wanted to reassure him, to let him know that I had faith in us, but the words wouldn't come.

"I'm just a little uncomfortable about you living with Olivia."
