Kiara stopped in her tracks immediately and asked herself to calm down. Once she pulled herself together, she turned around and said, "You forced me to come back home but you can't force me to sleep with you, Icarus."

"How will your father feel about his daughter not even wanting to stay in the same room as her husband?" Icarus said.

Kiara understood what he was trying to say and clenched her teeth, "Are you trying to threaten me?"

"I am not trying. I am threatening you." He said, "You are in my house and my wife. You will have to obey me unless you want divorce papers and contract termination sent to your father."

Kiara glared at him but at last gave in. She walked up to the bed and climbed up. She laid down at the edge with her back turned against him.

The room fell silent again and she could hear the crickets croaking outside. She closed her eyes when unexpectedly, he spoke up, "Are you asleep?"
