Chapter 109: Echoes of the Past

As we made our way back through the treacherous forest, the Silverwood heart carefully packed in Nathanial's bag, I couldn't shake the sense of foreboding that had settled over me. The air seemed heavier, the shadows longer, as if the very forest was whispering secrets meant only for me.
