Chapter 134: Trials of the Sanctuary

I reached the entrance to the ancient sanctuary, an imposing stone archway covered in vines and runes. My heart pounded in my chest as I stepped inside, the air thick with a sense of history and magic. This was it—the place my ancestors had spoken of in my visions. The air was cold and damp, filled with the faint echo of whispers from ages past.

As I ventured deeper, the path grew narrower and darker. The flickering light of my torch barely illuminated the walls, which were etched with intricate symbols. Each step I took echoed through the cavernous space, reminding me of how alone I was in this sacred place.

Suddenly, the ground beneath me shifted. I stumbled, barely catching myself before falling into a deep chasm that had opened up at my feet. The first test, I realized. Swallowing my fear, I looked around for a way across. There were narrow ledges and precarious stone outcroppings, but no clear path. I had to rely on my instincts.
