Last 15th January, Debbie put an end to Pete’s courtship. The latter keenly understood. February crossed in towards Valentine’s Day, Abby arrange dinner in her club with Debbie. She make up that the Benson family is inviting her for a Valentine dinner.
While Debbie’s waiting inside the bar, the waiter said to her, ‘I’m so sorry Madam that Mr & Mrs Eric Benson cannot come tonight, but please stay, they’ve sent a representative to meet you in a short while. Meantime please relax and enjoy the night.’
The music stop, the DJ announces that this Valentine party has just begun. He introduces the next singer Alexis. “A wonderful evening to everyone, I would like to dedicate this song to all. Abby (Alexis in disguise), starts to sing. She put on her wigs so Debbie can’t recognize her.
She went to Debbie’s table. Debbie is surprise and she can’t help laughing. ‘You are funny, Alexis? Abby to Debbie, ‘My heart leads me here; can you be my Valentine for tonight?’
Debbie is nervous. ‘Uh, okay since your funny dear, I will be yours for tonight only.’ Abby whispers, ‘Can I take you to the stage and dance with me?’ She grabs Debbie’s hand and flinches to dance.
Abby whispers to Debbie, ‘I like you.’ Debbie is nervous but at the same time is happy. Abby to Debbie; ‘Can you answer me now? Can I court you? Debbie wants to finish the dance, that’s why she said yes. ‘I love you Debbie. I really love you, Abby exclaims.
Debbie felt the sincerity of that voice and it must be Abby. How she wish that is it her. ‘Look Alexis, I don’t know you and I’m so sorry. I’m in love with someone now.’ Debbie excuse herself for a moment. She cries and walks out the garden.
Abby follows her and whispers again. ‘Why you’re crying? You’re not alone. I’m here for you and embrace Debbie. Come on, sweet, can we have dinner now? ‘
After dinner, Abby drove Debbie home.
The next day in office, Debbie invites Sara and Jack to join her in the bar and have some fun. Debbie’s eyes roam to search for Alexis. She asks a waiter about Alexis. The waiter goes to Abby and told her that someone is asking for Alexis.
When Abby saw it was Debbie and the gang. The waiter said that Alexis is in other town. To make it more fun. Abby instructs the DJ to play a game in order for Sarah and Jack to have freebies. The two win vouchers from the bar.
Abby starts sending to Debbie greeting cards and flowers. Debbie suspects it was Abby but she is shy to confront her.
Feb.16 Debbie went alone in OneBar. Abby saw her and watch her closely. Debbie’s eye is roaming to see if Alexis was in for tonight. Abby instructs a waiter and said, “It our bar special policies - when our guess is alone. We will take care of them. So bring it on. Whatever you order it’s on us. But remember this is our secret policy – You are not alone policy. Nobody should know except you.”
