CHAPTER 61: A SHADOW CULPRIT PART 3

After a while, Caspian could visualize, through the recordings, how the rats went out through one of the back windows of the second floor, fleeing without the security guards noticing. What angered Caspian the most was not the fact that he took his documents with him, AND that the guards had not noticed the rats' simple plan. But the fact that, in addition to taking the documents, they also took, a chest which, Caspian kept jealously under, lock and key in the desk. In fact, he had wondered where that chest was. But it never crossed his mind that these rats had also taken it. It was the chest that contained the cachetero that had cost him so much effort to steal from his wife. He had to ask for a new cheek holder of the same color, of the same material, of the same extensions, of the same design, to the point that the fibers were the same, just so that his wife would not notice the change.
