LENA’S POINT OF VIEW
Maia hasn’t come back for a week, she texted me and said she’s gonna back today to get her thing and move out. I’m so frustrated because I can’t believe that Maia will leave me at the lowest point of my life. My puffy eyes can’t stop crying since last night Maia told me that she will be moving out, and my sister just called me and gave me weepy news. All my best men get arrests, the girls also waiting for me to get them out, everything just falling apart.
It’s been five years, I haven’t heard anything from Lena since I left her. I maybe have to check on her and call her, asking about how she was, or take her out for dinner as a friend, maybe. I lied to myself if I say that I do not miss her, I miss her, badly. This thing makes me wanted to disappear to clear my mind from Lena. Otherwise, I spend these past years with Ben and helping my dad at his office, living the 120 different degrees lifestyle like I used to.I’ve been watched and stalked in these past few months. The same car parked in my driveway every noon, the same guy with hat watching me from the distance, someone watched me walk to the parking lot at the office, even though when I’m in the elevator, he always watched me. I w
I open my eyes when the hazy sunlight hit my eyes through the basement window, I hear his footsteps walk closer to the basement and I didn’t realize he already stood in front of me with the food bags in his hand. He pulls the tape in my mouth and asks “You hungry?” He asks as he removes the tape from my mouth. I gasp and I point my eyes to him “I’m starving” I reply. “Well, you’re in luck, then” He states as he pulls a chair and sits in front of me.“I got a whole mess of chicken legs in
I accidentally dropped my weapon, I take the weapon in rush and run back to the basement, I hide in the basement with a piece of glass in my hand. The man comes from upstairs “Maia, we need to talk” He says running from the stairs. “There’s been some kind of misunderstanding. The police think-” He stops in front of the empty chair and shocked. I stab him from behind with a piece of glass in my hand. “Oh shit! Did you just stab me?” He groans. He takes my hands and grabs them tightly, I punch his stomach wi
William looks sad as he heard my question, he rests his chin on the palm of his hand and sighs. “Nobody, I’m sure it’s nothing” He says, he gets up from the chair and asks me to follow him. He makes his way to the kitchen and I follow him behind “Where’s my car?” I ask. “It’s in the garage” He replies as he points his index finger to garage, "The garage is next to the kitchen" He states. “And my phone?” I ask as I’m looking around the spot.“In the back seat”
I sit on the couch, tied, my body feels cracked but my mind isn’t. I think I need to stretch my body to my soul after I got home. William cooked behind me, I have no idea what kind of hell that he tries to feed me after this. I turn around and look at him “What makes you so long?” I ask. “Jesus Christ, can you please shut your mouth fuck up? You made my life like hell!” William responds as he put the food inside the microwave.I’m waiting in silence as my eyes keep looking around the place, thinking about what i
“Rise and shine…Wil...”William slowly opens his eyes, I'll be the first lady he sees after he woke up from his sweet dreams. I tied his hands in the headboard and I’m standing on the bed as I point a real gun to his face while waiting for him to open his eyes. He opens his eyes and stares at the headboard, he sighs when he sees himself tied with his bleeding nose. “Bondage?” He sighs. “Schackmatt!” I reply as I point the gun closer to his forehead and look at him from the top of him. “Okay, that’s not a pellet gun” He says in dismay.“Your brother-in-law really should’ve found a better hiding place” I state. “Listen, Maia... if it’s the keys to the car you’re looking for, they’re in my pocket” He heavily breathing. I laugh softly “Oh, no, no… we are way past that” I respond. “I’m really sorry Maia. You know, none of this
William smile as he sees me get into the car, he waves his hand behind the car before I pull away. William is a good guy, not gonna lie but he does a good job. I turn on the engine and pull away from the driveway leaving William behind. Everyone must be worried at home, and I have to make up a story after I get home. It’s been five years I’m not doing any shit in my life, I kind of like it, and I enjoyed my last 48 hours.Hearing Lena’s name makes me miss her even more, I was looking out at the incredible, tropical view from our suite’s balcony when I felt my beautiful girlfriend’s arms wrap around me and her warm, red lipstick covered lips press against my neck. I closed my eyes and smiled before she reached into my shorts. “A-uh! I’m starving and want breakfast” I groaned as I shook my head. “You know what babe, I know what I want for breakfast” She replied.
I choke with my own food and I quickly drink a glass of water. “That’s a good idea, what do you think?” Ben asks me. “That’s unnecessary mom, we have so much time” I respond. “You’re in your first thirties! There’s no more time” She says. “Oh, Gosh” I groan. “I’m gonna make a phone call” My mom leaves. “Fiuhh…” My grandma sighs “She’s so fussy!” She says. “Well, you didn’t see more grandma, I live with her for over 30 years” I laugh softly. “Rosa called me last night, she really
