MAIA’S POINT OF VIEW

The streets were dark with something more than night, everything in the street seems like darkness to me. The street looks full but I felt empty, birds sleeping in the nest, hiding from the gloomy Queens night. Every city in the world always has a street gang… the homeless people sleep around the street with a thin blanket over them. My heart is broken into pieces… I wish they get a better life someday.

I see homeless kids sleeping on the street corner and one of them is just 3 years old! God, that breaks my heart. Do our sins in the past make us reborn this way? Life sucks… I know. Some people are born to be rich and some people are born to have nothing. I know it’s unfair… but… we cannot do anything… that’s our destiny. I’m so grateful because I still have my family until now. Some people may lose their families out there. All we can do is live our lives and be grateful for everything we had.
