Chapter 31 (Part 2)
Race's POV
I sneaked on my phone and disappointment got the shit of me. Wala pa rin kasing reply si Zena simula pa kagabi. She should have been preparing for school right now. How could she ignore my messages? Busy? No. It's not a valid reason. I won't take it. Hindi ko tuloy maiwasang makaramdam nang pagkatampo sa kanya. Nakalimutan niya na ako!
I let a couple of deep sighs as I was walking down the corridors. I headed straight on my chair and sat down. Maingay sa loob ng klase. Wala pa kasi ang prof.
Mayamaya pa'y dumating na rin si Lucas at naupo sa gilid ko.
"Man, where's Zena? Bakit hindi mo siya kasama?" I asked him.
"Tulog pa rin siya ,e. I didn't bother to wake her up since we had a tiring ride way back home from Batangas. Baka mamaya magising na rin 'yon at humabol na lang sa mga klase niya." Paliwanag ni Lucas.
Okay. This isn't a good start of my day.

Race's POVThey couldn't move. It was as if a ghost was passing by the space in between of us. Hindi nila alam kung ano ba ang dapat na isagot sa akin.
