Bruce pointed at a pile of stones and continued, “These stones represent Preston too. I can kick farther than you.”

“You wish! I can kick farther than you.” At the satisfying sound of another stone plunging into the lake, Luna clapped her hands, her face beaming with joy.

“Now it’s my turn.” “Hahaha! Hahahaha! I can kick farther than you...” At this point, Luna and Bruce had engaged in a playful contest of kicking stones, or versions of Preston, into the lake.

While they had fun, Preston bristled with anger not far away. His body tensed up and his face darkened. It took all of his self-control to be able to stay in place.

“Mr. King, is everything okay?”

Derek asked him upon seeing the expression on Preston’s face. He stifled his laughter and tried to act as serious as he could. Luna was one of a kind. She was literally comparing Preston to a stone. Hilarious! Not only did she call it smelly and hard, but she went as far as kicking it and stepping hard on it.
