Donald was distracted. With Lucy's leg moving all over him beneath the table, he could barely think straight. Jennifer sat in front of her boyfriend's Mercedes Benz with the traces of concern and worry boldly unscripted on her face. Her eyes were almost tightly glued on the glass. She only wanted to see one person. That was Lucy. Donald glanced at her from time to time. How was he supposed to let her know that there was no reason for her to be worried? Jennifer somehow believed the cheap lie Donald had told her earlier on. According to the man she loved, Lucy had somehow walked off in her drunken state without knowing.
