Chapter 141: Family Patching up

Ragnor hugged Clara tightly, kissing the top of her head multiple times. Nyota sat in the living room looking at them.

"I was scared. I thought I lost you," Ragnor whispered to Clara.

"I was so terrified. I felt like I was never going to see you again and it scared me," Clara said, her head resting on his well-formed chest and her arms wrapped around him.

Ragnor kept Clara in his embrace rubbing her back tenderly as they enjoyed each other's warmth.

"I don't know what happened. All I remember was, that I was with Mum and I got thirsty. I drank the water on the table and started feeling funny. So, I decided to lie on the bed for a while," she said and moved her hand to her chest as if in pain. "Then I felt a sharp pain in my chest. It hurt really bad but I couldn't scream and the room became so dark. The pain stopped but I felt like I was dreaming. I couldn't find you," she said sounding so terrified.

"Ssshhhsss," Ragnor said. "It's okay, I am here now," he comforted her but was angry
