Chapter 565

Inside the VIP ward within Legacy Hospital, the silent room contained only the echoes of the hospital instrument in operation.

Cecily covered her mouth with her hand as she stared at Ezra currently lying on the hospital bed. Her eyes were red with sadness and disbelief.

Alongside her was Raquel, who was also similarly distraught.

Cecily took a deep breath and turned to Samuel. "Dr. Lewis, what happened?"

Samuel tried his best to reassure her. "Mr. Lockwood's in stable condition now. His wounds came from being whipped with extreme force. Not even the man that delivered Mr. Lockwood to us knows who did this to him."
