I wasn't going to tolerate one more of her childishness, her gaze was fixed deep on mine, and I noticed how she was tense, I learned to know each of her details, so much so, that I could bet she was as anxious as I was, even though I wanted her.

"Well Harrison, now, let's talk about your commission," Olivia broke the awkward silence

"It's only fair, I've done good jobs and the business with McGregor is awesome," to think of the commission I would earn, it was a light in my deep darkness, I would buy a small apartment in the suburbs and not live with my family anymore, they had me desperate with their bad attitudes, or well my mother was the one who kept me burdened the most.

Olivia sighed resignedly, she didn't have a single excuse to take my commission away like she did in the business with Jonathan. He opened his desk drawer and pulled out his checkbook, checked his laptop for the exact business figures and focused his gaze on the check.
