Chapter 122: Thank You

Jasmine's POV

I was crying all night, and I couldn't sleep. I went to the shower room to clean myself. I could still feel his touch on me. I just wanted peace of mind, but I didn't want that to happen.

I kept on sobbing in the bathtub while hugging my knees. It's already Two in the morning but I couldn't sleep.

After I was done, I put on my sleepwear and went to the balcony to breathe some fresh air. I tried not to cry.

I hugged myself and closed my eyes. When I opened them, I saw someone standing outside. He was busy drinking. Why was he still up? And why was he outside?

I decided to go out of my room. I wore my jacket.

“ Why are you still up here?” I asked him, which surprised him. I saw his fist bruised and the side of his lips. I felt guilty. I sat beside him, but I still maintained our distance.
