"I told you to let me do it," Knox uttered as he took the spoon from her and dropped it gently, pulling her away from the counter.

"Go get some rest while I make breakfast," he hushed, but she shook her head.

"I'll cook with you," She insisted, and he rolled his eyes.

"You are stubborn," he huffed, and she smiled.
