Chapter Seventeen.

Charles's POV.

I was expecting her to say who she wanted her date partner to be. To be very honest, I wanted to be her date partner, but I don't know if she would want to be mine.

That was what I was scared of. It would be better to be alone than to embarrass myself. We were on the plane, but she refused to talk and wore the headphones.

It was going smoothly, but not until there was turbulence. I looked at her and then remembered that her parents once experienced a place crash, so she must be so scared right now. I held her hand as a form of reassurance that I was still with her, and there was no reason why she needed to be scared.

She looked at me immediately when my hand touched hers. "There is no reason for you to be scared. I am there with you." I assured her.
