Waking up not in Kris's arms anymore, but under a thick, furry blanket, my eyes fluttered open. Peeking through a small hole, I could see the sunlight shining  through the opened curtains. Illuminating the room.

Soft "Ahs" and "ouus" came from behind me, making me throw my covers off my head in a hurry.

I look to see four maids standing by the room door eagerly. I sat up in a daze as they rushed over to my bedside and all bowed together. I smiled cheerfully at their actions and bowed my head slightly. Only sending them an invitation to bombard me with touches to my face, pats on my head and even picking up strands of my curls and rolling it between their fingers.
