Chapter 97: Amanda Gone - Part 3

There was a little struggle as Aiden tried to disarm Amanda. The police arrived at the scene at the same time as their sirens were heard coming from afar. The gun went off and Amanda and Aiden both froze in place.

Ana stared at the two standing before her. Aiden took two steps backwards holding his stomach. He looked at his hand which was stained with blood as Amanda examined herself still holding the gun.

"Aiden," Ana called him in a whisper, her eyes quickly filled with tears.

"Ana," Aiden said as he went down on one knee and the next knee followed with one hand stretched towards Ana.

Aiden fell face down and Amanda turned pointing the gun at Ana. She took some steps backwards towards where Aiden was lying. With the gun still pointing at Ana, she forced Aiden's head up pulling him by his collar.
