Chapter 118 : The die is cast

The next day Mrs Haward presented the documents to Mr Wellington who smiled with satisfaction.

"Well done, you made the right choice," Mr Wellington said accepting the signed document from her hand.

"I do know a good deal when I see one," Mrs Haward commented.

"I will be leaving now to handle some other business starting tomorrow. As the CEO, this office is now yours. Congratulations," Mr Wellington said and handed the keys to her exiting the office.

Mrs Haward stood in the big office space. The office that once belonged to Jason. She smiled knowing she had taken it away from Jason. She sat down on the seat behind the desk and spun herself around. She fetched her phone from her bag and dialled James's number.

"Hello, my dearest son," Mrs Haward said as soon as the call connected with an eagerness to share her exciting news.

"Hi mum," replied James sounding normal.

"Guess what son?" Mrs Haward said excitedly on the phone.

"You won the lottery," James teased.
